Over the River and Through the Woods

Over the river, hills, mountains and through the woods and snow to Hubby Docs farm we go! A long weekend off, so we head back to the farm for some R and R. Had an absolutely beautiful drive home. Enjoy.

Pretty pink mountains yesterday evening.

Our barn in the snow.

Wow! Real icicles for Christmas decorations.

Snow gently falling all day Saturday.

The quail were happy we were home to feed them. We have about 150 of them in the yard.

He looks pretty happy to be shoveling snow. Let's see how he feels about it in a couple of months!

White on white.

A look down the driveway before we spoil it with tire tracks.

Loving Cottonwood

Well, I've really dropped the ball on the blogging! So sorry.
Anyway, Hubby Doc has been working in Cottonwood, Idaho since October. He worked here back in August of 2009, and really enjoyed the people. So, he is happy to be back, and the staff is happy he is back too! They like him so much, they are working on keeping him here on a part time permanent schedule. That would work out well, since it's only a four and a half hour commute from our farm. He would still be able to take other jobs for short stints, which he would like. We'll see how it all comes together.
I hope you enjoy a few shots of the area.

The commute.

Heading to work.

Downtown Cottonwood.

Home away from home. Right across the street from the clinic and hospital.

Shoveling the walk.

St. Gertrude. Up the hill about three miles from our place.

So many beautiful barns around here.
